You must choose from these 3 qualifications to be in Congress: (1) be at least twenty-five years old (2) have been a citizen of the United States for the past seven years (3) be (at the time of the election) an inhabitant of the state they represent. Each one has its importance, for #1 being 25 + is important because it is past adult age and is able to vote. for #2, it is important because they've been loyal to the same country. Finally, for #3 if you're not in an Inhabitant of the state you represent you don't know much about it. Its good to know more about the state you're representing.
