Judaism Christianity and Islam are all monotheistic faiths that worship the God of Adam, Abraham, and Moses-creator, sustainer, and lord of the universe. They share a common belief in the oneness of God

Although in essence of belief, there are great differences between the three major religions, the truth is that there are also a lot of similarities between the three.

To begin with all three faiths are monotheistic. The Jews believe in the One true God, indivisible, while Islam believes also in a One God, but invisible and unapproachable. Christians, although they believe in the Trinity, they also believe that the Trinity is One God, not three Gods. They too are monotheistic.

Also, the three religions have a common birthplace. All three believe that God revealed Himself first and foremost to Abraham, who is seen by both Christians and Jews as the father from whom the faithful descended like the stars, and to Muslims, he is a prophet to whom God was revealed as well. Muslims also believe in Jesus as a Prophet, a great Prophet, while to Christians, Jesus, is God incarnate. Jews, do not believe in Jesus as nothing more than another one of their brothers. Finally, all three believe and accept the Ten Commandments and the role of Moses in history.

All three religions also share the commonality of the Old Testament, from which all revelation begins.

There are many more things that could be said that show that all three religions: Judaism, Islam and Christianity, share a lot in common, and also a lot of differences. But these mentioned above are some of the most essential.
