State two ways the families described in this passage dealt with the problems of the Depression. [2]

    1. The families exhausted all of their finances

    2. The families were forced to ration meals and the children had to sacrifice daily nutrition because of the "tight" eating habits within their households, which left families to deal with the mental and physical struggles placed upon the kid's' development.
