However, this plan failed because Germany was defeated by Great Britain in the Battle of Britain, which made impossible for Germany to use British ships to relocate the Jewish population. Moreover, the British naval blockade, which limited Germany's access to food and minerals, also made the Madagascar Plan fail. Therefore, lack of transportation was the main reason why this plan failed.

One, Germany lacked the massive transportation capacities to transport soldiers. and two, the German Navy couldn't protect the transport from the Royal Navy.
