How could economic gain lead to a more strategic position for Native Americans?

    If the Native Americans were to benefit from economic gain, they would be further entitled to not just the land that they own, but much more, if they have the material. They could purchase things such as weapons, more land, clothing, etc. It's a strategically positive situation because they would have access to commodities beyond inheritance, and they would be able to defend themselves with more or less ease.
