Second Manassas, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, were big wins in the East, Chickamauga, Murfreesboro Raid and Holly Springs in the West, Sabine Pass and Galveston in the Trans-Mississippi were all major CSA victories. The South won dozens of othee battles and skirmishes during this period.
