    Brown v. Board of Education

    Explanation:

"NAACP" refers to "National Association for the Advancement of Colored People." It is an organization that is meant to abolish racial segregation, particularly when it comes to transportation, housing, education, employment and the like. It was also intended to give the African-Americans their constitutional rights.

The NAACP was organized in 1909 and it became active in filing lawsuits regarding segregation of laws in the early 1950s. It was created in order to respond to court cases such as the "Brown v. Board of Education." This occurred in 1951. The lawsuit was made by Oliver Brown against the Board of Education of Topeka, Kansas because his daughter, Linda, was not allowed to enter the school because she was a black girl. The lawyer who defended Oliver Brown was the head of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.

    So, this explains the answer.
