    Explanation:

    The Triple Alliance War or also called Paraguay War lasted from 1864 to 1870. It was the bloodiest conflict that ever happened in Latin America. The main reason for the war was a dispute for boundary and tariff between the neighbors' countries - Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil -. Paraguay lost the war and the population was reduced from 525 thousand to 221 thousand, most of the men of the country were dead, malnutrition, disease dominated the country. Paraguay also lost 55 square miles of territory.
