Describe how cotton gin and interchangeable parts made production more efficient

The cotton gin made it easier to remove the seeds from cotton which otherwise would take weeks from multiple workers, with it there could be 5 workers doing more work faster than say 20. Interchangeable parts made it easier to replace one part of equipment than the whole machine.
