What ultimately happened at the stamp act

There was tax on all types of paper items such as; almanacs, newspaper, envelopes, etc. These types of tax made colonists angry as they thought it was unfair for Great Britain to be taxing them instead of their own representatives. This slowly started up protests for the taxes to be removed.

It was a tax of printed paper, every single one.
