Zora Neale Hurston wrote the essay "How it Feels to be Colored Me" in 1928. In one excerpt of the essay, she compares herself to a brown bag filled with random elements and mentions that there are other bags of different colors next to her. Every bag has a unique appearance when filled and she concludes that every bag has a special role. She concludes by saying that we should not focus on race, but on the similarities, we have in common.

It is easy to agree with this, as every ethnical group has historically occupied a role in the history of the country. It has also been proved that there is a major chance in generating development within a group when there is more diversity.
