What were some of the arms control agreements reached during the cold war

There were multiple agreements reached during the Cold War in regards to arms control.

1) Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty #1 - This first agreement between the United States and the Soviet Union dealt with limiting the amount of long-range ballistic missiles armed with nuclear weapons.

2) Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty #2 - This second agreement between the United States and Soviet Union dealt with limiting the number of strategic launchers.
