In the Renaissance, Islam spread through military conquests, diplomacy, and trade.

    Explanation:

After the plague and its devastating effects, the Islamic states started to consolidate and strengthen. The several Islamic states that were established and grew in power in this period, managed to further spread the Islam in other regions. The manners through which the religion was spread was through military conquests, diplomacy, and trade.

The Ottomans managed to spread the Islam in Southwestern Europe, mainly in Bosnia and Albania, mostly through diplomacy, as the forceful manner didn't seemed to work well. Through the trans-Saharan trade routes, from Northern Africa, the Islam started to spread out into Western and Eastern Africa.

In South Asia the Islam mostly spread through military conquests and forcing the population to do so. In Southeast Asia, mostly the islands of the region, the Islam spread through trade and diplomacy.
