Why do you think such a law exists in the first place?

Laws were first created in 22nd century, these were created to make a ruler in place or someone who would speak for that Nation or country, this ensured a civilized society and prevented the abuse of anothers freedoms, Laws also limited what the ruler/government and society could do they did not have complete power over another.
