What texas battle is best regarded as a strong victory for the confederacy?

    The final Civil War battle in South Texas, I'm from Texas so I've been in Texas History for quite a while. But the answer should be one of the civil wars. The Palmito Ranch was that the final land battle of the Civil War was fought in Texas ... so yup.
