After the War. Many things changed once World War II was over. Much of Europe and Eastern Asia had been destroyed by the fighting and bombings that had taken place over many years. Also, many country's borders needed to be set and governments re-established where Germany or Japan had taken over.
Explanation:
The Great Depression also allowed authoritarian rulers to come to power, which moved the world closer to war. One major effect of World War II was the use of nuclear weapons in war, which would later lead to the Cold War.

The war accelerated technology and brought new methods for fighting and killing to the later wars. The air forces improved greatly, such as transport, strategic bombing (to use bombs to destroy industry and morale), as well as radar, and weapons for destroying aircraft
