    According to a survey made by Gallup Daily Tracking, by the year 2008, 80.1% of amercians identified themselves as Christians, while 5.3% identified as Non-Christians, and the remaining 14.6% as non-religious. The number of Christians has declined by 2019, as 70.6% identify as such.
