How was the tenement housing problem addressed during the Industrial age?

    The tenement housing problem was addressed during the Industrial age by building new tenements. New tenements were been built because of increase in population. Tenements can be defined as an inferior family housing in over populated city areas. The houses were old, crowded, unsanitary and lower class citizens lived or reside in the houses.
