W. E. B. Du Bois was an outspoken critic of racial injustice in the United States. He was an American sociologist, civil rights activist, historian, author, and editor. He made it much of his life's work to fight for social justice in the hopes of ending the racial injustice that existed against African Americans during the time period in which he lived.
