    In Bosnia, the so-named "Bosnian genocide" required UN and US intervention, or so politicians thought, to end the killing.

    In Haiti, the US didn't really intervene in the 90s, they did so earlier, but it still applies. The government had just had a shift, so Wilson, idealist that he was, sent in troops to calm the storm.
