Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister of Britain during World War II. President Truman invited Churchill to his home state of Fulton, Missouri in the spring of 1946. It is here that Churchill delivered his "Iron Curtain" speech. Research and explain what Churchill meant by "Iron Curtain."

    It refers to the fact that Eastern Europe was more or less controlled by the Soviet Union.
