What was the key reason for the ending of the native civilizations of America?

The key reason for the ending of native civilisations in North, Central and South America was the colonisation of these places by Europeans. One of the main factors was that the Europeans brought lots of diseases that Native populations had no immunity to. Another was the genocide of these populations by colonisers.
