The correct answer is A. An act of civil disobedience in which colonists destroyed an entire shipment of British Tea by dumping it into the Boston Harbor.

    Explanation:

On December 16, 1773, protesters belonging to the Sons of Liberty, some disguising themselves as Native Americans, descended on a complete shipment of tea that had been sent by the East India Company and destroyed it. They did this by boarding the three ships and throwing all the 342 tea chests into the Boston harbor. Because of this, Britain ended taxes for any colony in February 1775 in a conciliatory resolution.
