During the 1960s, police were at the forefront of much of the civil conflict that enveloped many American cities. Several landmark court decisions during this time restricted police powers. What is the process by which police power and authority can be restricted or constrained?

    Judicial review can be defined as one of the proceedings and institutional capacity of a court, in which the judge assess the validity of the decision that has been made or by public body and make sure they're consistence with the constitution. Judicial review gives the court power to crosscheck the executive, legislative and administrative arms of government and make sure their actions are within the laws.
