The correct answer is C: Intentional, negligent, and strict liability.

    Explanation:

A tort is a private wrong that harms a person or his/her property. The injured person may sue the tortfeasor so as to be compensated for the damage caused (monetary compensation). Some torts require intent and therefore there is liability for the action involved. An intentional tort occurs when the wrongdoer causes intentional damage to another individual. For example, when one persons strikes another person in a fight. The tortfeasor has the desire to harm or damage the other person, as a result, there is intent. Negligence arises when the tortfeasor damages another person but his/her action is the result of careless conduct or behavior. There is no intention to damage or cause such damage.

Strict liability is the legal responsibility a person has for damage or injury to another person. The party who is injured is not required to prove that there has been fault. The liability is "strict" or "absolute". For example, if the tortfeasor has a lion living with him/her and the lion causes injury to a person walking in the street because it has escaped from the person's dwelling place.
