2. David works at the local newspaper after school. He is one of six high school or college

kids who intern, and he really enjoys it. He gets along well with his co-workers and looks

forward to a job with the newspaper once he graduates. A college girl he's become close

friends with-Stacy-works there as well. Stacy doesn't make much money and she is a

single Mom. Sometimes she doesn't have money to buy the supplies she needs for class.

David has caught her taking from the newspaper's supplies. One day, all six interns all

called into the editor's office. Someone has been stealing from the company-if they are

honest, only one will be fired. If no one tells the truth, all six will be replaced. What should

David do? Why? Which approach (es) should David use?
