If the ratio is 6:7 the students should divide nicely into 6+7=13 parts. Six of those parts are girls, seven of those parts are boys.

    364 / 13 = 28

    So 6 * 28 = 168 girls

    Answer: 168

    Check:

    7 * 28 = 196 boys

    168 + 196 = 364, good
