    (x + 4) (x - 2) = 0

    x = 2, - 4

    Put x = 2 in the equation y = - 2x

    y = - 2 * 2

    Put x = - 4 in the equation y = - 2x

    y = - 2 * - 4

    y = 8

    Therefore when x = 2 than y = - 4 and when x = - 4 than y = 8.
