If a die has 6 sides and only one of them has a "5" on it the 1/6 of the time you are going to get a five. Every number has 1/6 of a chance for it to land on that specific number, so 1 has 1/6 of a chance to land on it and same goes for the rest of the numbers. SO if there is 5 other numbers other then 5 and you want to figure out the probability of if it will land on any other side besides 5 you simply multiply 1/6 x 5
