    Length (l) = 4 + w

    Width (w) = w

    Area (A) = 21m^2

    so keep in mind Area = Length * width

    A = l*w

    21 = (4+w) (w)

    21 = 4w + 2w

    21=6w

    w=3.5

    The width is 3.5m

    so the answer is about 4m
