    3x + 2y = 2

    2x - y = 6 so y = 2x - 6

    replace y = 2x - 6 into 3x + 2y = 2

    3x + 2y = 2

    3x + 2 (2x - 6) = 2

    3x + 4x - 12 = 2

    7x = 14

    x = 2

    y = 2x - 6

    y = 2 (2) - 6

    y = 4 - 6

    y = - 2

    so x = 2 and y = - 2

    answer is B.

    (2, - 2)
