The Decker Car Rental Company charges $25.40 plus 20¢ per mile to rent a car. The equation 25.4+0.2m=c represents the cost to rent a car from Decker. Bob's Car Rental charges $15 plus 60¢ per mile. The cost to rent a car from Bob's is represented by the equation 15+0.6m=c. At what mileage (m) would the cost of renting a car be the same for both companies?

    25.4+0.2m=15+0.6m

    25.4-15=0.6m-0.2m

    10.4=0.4m

    26=m

    for 26 miles the cost would be the same
