    Let the length and width of the garden be represented by L and W. Then L = 2W + 6 (all measurements in meters).

    The formula for the Perimeter of a rectange is P = 2L + 2W.

    Here, P = 2 (2W + 6) + 2W = 90 (all dimensions in meters).

    Then 4W + 12 + 2W = 90; 6W = 78; W=13 meters. Then L = 2W + 6=

    2 (13) + 6 = 32 meters.

    Check: Does P come out to 90 meters when W = 13 m and L = 32 meters?

    P = 2 (13 m) + 2 (32 m) = 26 m + 64 m = 90 m. YES.

    W = 13 m; L = 32 m (answer)
