A boat cruise is 30 1/3 miles long. There are 40 sight-seeing stops evenly spread throughout the distance. The boat went 2/7 of the cruise when it was forced to stop because of bad storms.

    If the question is how many sight seeing stops did it make here is the answer:-

    distance between each stop = 30 1/3 / 40 = 91/120 miles

    30 1/3 * 2/7 = 26/3 miles

    number of stops before the storm = 26 / 3 / 91/120

    = 26/3 * 120/91

    = 80/7

    = 11 stops
