To find the percent of a number, just turn the percentage into a decimal. To do that just go 2 decimal places to the left. For example, 25% becomes 0.25. Then, just multiply that decimal by the number you're finding the percentage of. That's it!
Ex. Find 50% of 10
50% becomes 0.5
0.5 (10) = 5
50% of 10 is 5.
