The surface area of a cone is approximated by the polynomial 3.14r squared + 3.14rl where r is the radius and l is the slant height. find the approximate surface area of a cone when l=5cm and r=3cm

    = 3.14 (3) + 3.14 (3) (5)

    = 3.14 (18)

    = 56.52 cm^2
