A sock drawer contains 8 white socks, 4 blue socks and 6 black socks. * Make a ratio of the number of white socks to the total number of socks in the drawer. Show your ratio all 3 forms in simplest form

    blue socks = 4

    black socks = 6

    Total # socks = 18

    1) Using ":" to separate the values ⇒ 8 : 18

    2) Using "to" instead of ":" ⇒ 8 to 18

    3) Writing it like a fraction: Part to whole ⇒ 8 / 18
