A Person's chance of Winning a raffle is 1/18, if he buy's 15 tickets:

a.) Determine the total number of tickets sold (4 marks).

b.) What number of tickets does he need to buy, If he is to increase his chance of winning to 5/18. (4 marks).

    A) 18 times 15 = 270

    So there would be 270 tickets sold.

    15 times 5 = 75

    He would need to buy 75 tickets
