    -x-6y=6

    y=mx+b - slope

    slope is also m

    b is the y-intercept

    move - x to the other side

    -x+x-6y=x-6

    -6y=x-6

    divide both sides by - 6 to get y by itself

    -6y/-6=x/-6-6/6-6

    answer:

    y=x/-6-1 or y=-1/6x-1
