The pizza below has a radius of 6 inches. You share the pie with 3 friends. If you cut the pie into each pieces for each person, what is the area of each pieces for each person, what is the area of each piece of the pie?

    Area = pi * r^2

    A = pi * 6^2

    A = 36 pi inches squared (for the whole pizza)

    Assuming the slices are equal,

    36 pi / 3 = 12 pi

    Each slice is 12 pi inches squared

    3.14 x 6^2

    3.14 x 36 = 113.04

    113.04 / 3 = 37.68
