Bryan bought two shirts for 14.50 each and a pair of shoes for 29.99. The sales tax was 6%. How much did Bryan spend?

    14.50 + 29.99 = 44.49

    6% = 0.06

    44.49 x 0.06 = ~2.67

    44.49 + 2.67 = 47.16
