Karyn knits a sweater at an average rate of 1.5 inches per evening. Four days after she first notes her rate, the sweater is 10 inches long. Let L (t) be the length of the sweater t days after having been started. Write the linear equation for L (t) in the slope-intercept form.

    Linear equation = R = 0.6L

    Rate of knitting is directly proportional to Length.

    R = KL

    K = R/L = 1.5/2.5 = 0.6

    Hence linear equation =
