I don't understand your request but I will factorize this quadratic equation:

If x' is the 1st root & x" is the second one, then the quadratic equation

    ax² + bx + c = 0 could be written a (x-x') (x-x") (in our case (a=1)

    Factorize x² - 3x - 10

    Either you use the formula x = (-b+-√b²-4ac) / 2a

    or you will find 2 numbers where their addition = - 3 (b/a) &

    the product = - 10 (c/a) in both cases you will find x' = 5 & x" = - 2

Thus it could be factorized as follows: (x-5) (x+2)
