    This is a problem of doubling time, the general formula for doubling time is

    N = A (2) ^ (t / d)

    where N is the future wind generating capacity in thousand MW

    A is the initial wind generating capacity which is 95,000 MW

    d is the time it will double, which is 3 years

    t is the time in the future in years

    N = 95 (2) ^ (t / 3) is the formula for t he continuous growth rate and give a formula for wind generating capacity W W (in thousand megawatts) as a function of t t, the number of years in the future
