There were 287 tickets purchased for a major baseball game. The general admission tickets cost $6.50 and the upper reserved tickets cost $10.00. The total amount of money spent was $2429.00. how many of each kind of ticket were purchased?

    6.5g + 10u = 2429

    -3.5g = - 441

    g = 126 general tickets

    126 + u = 287

    u = 161 upper tickets
