A random sample of 150 high school students were asked whether they have a job. The results are shown in the table.

    Males: 48 have a job, 35 do not.

    48 is greater than 35, so more males have a job.

    Females: 41 have a job, 26 do not.

    41 is greater than 26, so more females have a job.

    Since more of both males and females have jobs, there does not seem to be an association.
