8. Let f (x) = 3x + 2 and g (x) = x - 3. Find f (x) - g (x) and state its domain.

    F (x) - g (x)

    becomes

    (3x + 2) - (x - 3)

    which is

    3x + 2 - x + 3

    then add like terms

    2x + 5

    so f (x) - g (x) = 2x + 5

    and it's domain should be all real numbers
