DaDanielle wants to paint her daughter's room pink. She has been told two different plans:

• Plan A: Use 5 parts white and 2 parts red

• Plan B: Use 4 parts white and 1 part red

Which plan will give her paint that is the least red? Explain what the

numbers in your calculations mean.

    Plan B will have less red.

    Plan A: the ratio of white to red would be 2.5 to 1

    Plan B: the ration of white to red would be 4 to 1

    That means there is more white in plan B, therefore less red
