The length of a rectangle is two more than three times the width. If the perimeter is 100 m, what is the width of the rectangle?

    Lest assume Length=y and width=x

    y = 3x+2

    p=2 (x+y)

    100=2 (x+3x+2)

    100/2=4x-2

    50+2=4x

    52/4=x

    x=13

    the width is 13 m
