The probability that an individual is left-handed is 0.11. in a class of 29 students, what is the probability of finding five left-handers?

    This is a case of binomial probability, with n = 29, p = 0.11 and x = 5.

    Using the function binompdf on my Texas Instruments calculator, as follows:

    binompdf (29,0.11,5) = 0.117 (answer)
